SINGAPORE, March 17 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- PT Grand Uway Development ("GUD"), developers of Grand Quarter ("GQ") Batam, signed a strategic partnership agreement with Bouygues Batiment International as Turn-key Contractor. This agreement marks an important step in the development process of the integrated business and leisure area because it guarantees completion of both phases of the US$ 120 million project. The first phase, consisting of the Water Park, Condotel, Apartment Complex and Convention Center, will be finished in 24 months. The second phase, composed of the Shopping Mall, Lifestyle Area and Office Block, will be accomplished after 5 years' development.

This strategic partnership assures that PT GUD will be able to deliver Grand Quarter Batam according to planned time schedule. This surely is good news for both domestic and foreign businessmen & tourists -- as they can enjoy various facilities offered by GQ Batam without any delay; and it is even better news for investors, who will soon reap the benefits of their investments.
